DOKO / Tsubasa – UX Case Study
An app for solo concert goers to connect, share, and enjoy live gigs together.
Project Overview
Duration: Nov 2023 – Jan 2024
Role: UX Researcher, UI Designer, Prototyper
Tools: Figma, Maze, Google Forms
DOKO / Tsubasa is a mobile app that helps solo concertgoers connect with others who love the same music.
The Problem
“How can people find friends who have similar taste in music to attend gigs with?”
Many music lovers miss out on concerts because they don’t have anyone to go with—especially for niche genres.
The Goal
- Find other music fans attending the same events
- Make gig-going more social and welcoming
- Centralize ticket info and event sharing
Research Insights
We conducted surveys and interviews to understand how users pick concerts and what stops them from going alone.
“I’m not brave enough to go solo.” – Jess, 40
This inspired the persona and feature planning.

Sketches & Wireframes
Started with low-fidelity wireframes and sketched layouts to explore user flows.
